PostHeaderIcon Progress

We are still working on the new page to make it a consistent and pleasant experience for all.

The technical side is progressing pretty well, actually that well that it allowed us to create a small download portal for testers of our technology.
What thought will need more time than expected is the visual aspect as we decided that the old design won't fit with the new capabilities and the new direction of our company anymore.

In the future we will focus on two major sectors, which are iPhone Development and MMO related technology for Indie Developers.
While we are still in the research and initial development phase for our initial iPhone title, we recently have been contracted to create a new MMO technology. This means that we are currently contracted to work on two distinct MMO technologies for two different parties. This gives us insight in various aspects of the MMO technology development and the strategies that can be followed to reach the final target, as the targets between the two couldn't differ more.

PostHeaderIcon Backup System

After some recent problems with one of our systems, we now have a new, stronger backup system. This system also will be used as miniserver for future projects.

In the meantime, we are still working hard making the new page happening as soon as possible!
We made good progress with the user-license-download handling which is intend to make various steps simple and straight forward for our customers

PostHeaderIcon The dilemma of websites

I'm currently working hard on getting the reworked page ready as soon as possible.
The design and underlying structures are already up and working again, now with a much cleaner and more professional design than the old one.

I'm currently working on the user handling backend and related services like the download. These things are integral to the page as I want to make it as intuitive and straight forward for our customers as possible.

Side a side to it I am also investing some time to make sure that the final 1.5.0 release will be ready with the new page so interested parties can download the demo right away.

PostHeaderIcon GayaSoft page rework

During our recent tests we sadly had to find out that our page and the underlying Joomla Plugins and Modules have some serious flaws that we are not willing to accept. Especially with the shop there have been major problems.
This forces us to rewrite the whole page.
But we see this as a chance because it also gives us the possibility to integrate future things in a much simpler and for our purpose cleaner way. That way we will be able to offer various things we before did not think would be possible for the forseable future.

The 1.5.0 release of Patch File Creator will happen with the start of the new page then. This new page will include more information on the Patch File Creator technology as well as different screenshots. The demo also includes the new documentation.

PostHeaderIcon PFC 1.5.0 now silver

We are proud to be able to tell that we are nearing the completition of Patch File Creator 1.5.0.

We fixed several crash bugs in the building process and changed some code that was not optimal so far.
We still see a lot of potential for future changes, but we decided that the bug fixes are critical enough to be done as soon as possible.

The only thing remaining thing, on which we are working right now, is a new documentation which can be extended in the future without clutter everything. We also intend to make eachs license types documentation (Demo, Registered and Professional) specific for the given license in a future, so demo users do not have to skip things anymore that they can not use.

PostHeaderIcon Patch File Creator 1.5.0

The development of the final release of PFC (1.5.0) is progressing.
We are working together with different users of the original technology to fix some bugs.

After that we intend to use the technology to create something that will hopefully be of even more use but that can not be accomplished usefully within the current application. This "something" is what we call PatchLaunch.
We intend we will port and restructure parts the code and make it much more productive for us to fix bugs and implement new features, of which we have quite a few that are hardly possible to be added to PFC.
We believe that the core of PFC contains some very usefull and powerfull technology aspects but that this core has been cluttered with code that restricted it from beeing what it could be and added bugs that are now bugging users.

We don't have anything specific to share right now other than that initial tests have shown a not unsignificant speedup in the build process over the current build process in PFC.

PostHeaderIcon Rights to Patch File Creator aquired

On August 25th, we aquired the rights to Patch File Creator, a powerfull patcher system with support for delta file patching and a skinnable patcher.

We plan to use the technology at a later point not only for the Patch File Creator but to integrate it with other products in the future.

But first we will focus on getting a new version of Patch File Creator ready.

PostHeaderIcon Pages and webstore

Sadly the page still is not finished. We found different issues with the webstore module we are using and Firefox 3 as well as IE 8 which forces us to either find an alternative solution or hand modify the solution.
This will take a while and forces us to rethink our timetables.

PostHeaderIcon iPhone Development

The easyness of creating a small application for the iPhone is only blocked by the uneasyness of getting the UIKit to do what you want it to. But I'm getting the hang on it.

PostHeaderIcon Homepage Progress

The new homepage is slowly but steadily progressing towards its release state.

There is only one major block that has to be adressed before it will got publically live and thats the shop component that has some pretty bad visual problems on a different browsers.

PostHeaderIcon iPhone Development

Finally the iPhone OS 2.0 launch has happened, which means that we got added as iPhone developers by Apple and so we will be able to develop on our iPhones and iPod Touches. We requested those certificates early during the beta, but as only very few devs and even fewer devs from Europe were choosen, we had to wait until know.
Once we get our certificate, the "party can start".

We already have initial prototypes up on the simulator but have not been able to test them as the prototypes involve gyro interaction.

The next months will be very interesting and intense. But we are really looking forward to the new experiences and possibilities we have now with all the different technologies available which we use for develoment and/or for which we offer services like Realm Crafter, Unity3D and RCScript
